The history of the Corbarino Tomato begins in the hills of Corbara, in the province of Salerno. This tomato is known for its elongated shape and its sweet-sour flavor which makes it a unique ingredient for many traditional recipes of Italian cuisine. One of these recipes is the sauce with "fujute clams", which despite not using clams, has an unmistakable seafood aroma. This is thanks to the ability of the Corbara Tomato to absorb the salty aroma of the sea and transfer it to the sauce. Ideal to taste with our Gragnano Pasta.
